This is a very unique hunt for a beautiful trophy.  We recommend using a larger caliber rifle, as Oryx are tough animals.  Outfitted/Guided hunters can enter the outfitter pool of licenses, which gives them a much better chance of drawing a license.  There are also landowner licenses available for oryx.  This 25-year veteran outfitter also outfits for elk, mule deer, antelope, Merriam’s turkey, and four species of quail.  The elk area he hunts is ranked in the top three areas in New Mexico.
