Backcountry Camp

About This Adventure:

This hunt is out of a backcountry camp that requires a 3 to 4 hour horseback ride. Bucks average about 150 to 180, but sometimes a real big boy comes along. Hunters will apply for Region H on the Wyoming Game and Fish website between January 1 and May 31. A deer hunter might also consider purchasing an OTC black bear license for $373 as the bears are active and fattening up for hibernation. A harvest fee would apply. You might see grizzlies, but currently Wyoming does not have a season for grizzly bears.
