About This Adventure:

This is a high, alpine mule deer hunt “going high” at an elevation of 4,000 to 6,800 feet in search of larger size buck mule deer. A hunter must be physically capable and prepared to ride horseback in the area. A hunter must also be willing to climb sometimes steep hills in order to get to these alpine bucks. We recommend that a mule deer hunter also purchase a black bear license, if they have interest in harvesting a nice size black bear, a harvest fee would apply.
