About This Adventure:

This hunt takes place in western Nebraska, which is a sleeper hot spot for mule deer. The Panhandle area has enough ridges, patches of timber and canyons for good cover, but what makes the difference is that the area has scattered agricultural fields that provide better forage for the deer. This supplies a better diet and nutrients for the deer, so the horn growth is impressive. The archery hunt is from September 1 to December 31. Rifle season is approximately November 10 to 25, and the special muzzleloader season is December 1 to 31. This outfitter also hunts pheasants, prairie dogs, coyotes and waterfowl. They have 17 miles of river frontage on the Platte River for waterfowl hunting.
