About This Adventure:

There are two types of cow elk licenses in this hunt unit, and usually neither one of them sells out in the initial drawing.  Hunters usually apply January 1 to February 1, but due to private land with very limited access, leftover cow elk licenses are almost always available for sale in late June.  This 4 x 4, ATV and Foot hunt takes place in area 48, which is a quality area with a great elk population.  This outfitter also hunts mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, mountain lion, turkeys and prairie dogs.
