About This Adventure:

This hunt takes in the Hill Country of West Texas on private ranches.  These are free ranging elk in a unique, scenic region.  The wild elk herd in West Texas are considered “exotics”, so there is no defined season.  This is also easier terrain than other elk hunts elsewhere.  Hunting methods are safari style, spot n stalk, sitting in hay or brush pile blinds, or sitting in a blind over a waterhole.  This hunt requires no license drawings, no preference point and other hassles, it just takes an OTC licenses for $48.  These hunts are very limited and sometimes booked up several years in advance. This outfitter is one of most impressive outfitters around, he offers many different species of exotics, Aoudad, mule and whitetail deer and game birds; and offers DIY, semi-guided and guided hunts on different ranches.  Talk about variety and options!
